  I agree with the other reviews. Although Dr. Burns is a good Orthodontist I had a different experience in Dr. Burns office from the other reviewers. I am an older patient who was looking forward to having pretty straight teeth and had heard advertisements about Invisaligners. 58 Invisalign trays were ordered for me and I was excited to begin the process. After a month or so I noticed that I was feeling weak and sick, almost like I had the flu. Since the Invisalign trays were the only thing new introduced into my daily regimin I suspected them. I stopped using them for a few days and I began to feel better. As a test I began using them again. In a few days the sickness returned. I did this several times until I arrived at the very unwelcome conclusion that I would not be able to continue with the Invisalign treatment so I asked Dr. Burns to cancel the rest of my treatment. I had 45 trays left and I knew there would be no refund for them, but what I did not know was Dr. Burns never mentioned there would be no refund for the work that he did not have to perform. I would never recommend Invisalign and after the treatment was cancelled I read on the Internet that others had similar problems and yet the FDA had to make the manufacturers notify the Orthodontists. I would give Dr. Burns a 5 rating except that he felt justified in keeping the money for 45 trays that he did not earn.

  Dr. Burns is extremely professional and his business has clearly played a very large role in the Kernersville community and the Greensboro area for years. I needed my retainers cleaned and he ended up replacing them completely to better meet my needs (no more kanker sores). The office got me the new retainers in record speed thanks to his long lasting community partnerships! The waiting area is comfortable and friendly and the staff welcomes you in the same manner. The office has an open feel, no doubt facilitated by Dr. Burns' staff and Dr. Burns himself. I highly recommend him to anyone!
